The Atomic Backland Carbon is the star of our Backland Series. It's our most downhill friendly boot without sacrificing performance on the climb. The Frictionless Pivot system allows you to move as freely and comfortably as possible when climbing. The Free/Lock 4.0 ski/walk mechanism offers great maneuverability on the way up and allows you to tighten the collar for a smooth descent. The Boa® clamping system is both durable and precise to ensure effortless foot support. The stiffness and control of the Carbon Spine construction is matched by a progressive flex similar to our Hawx Prime 110 S. Once you get to the bottom, you'll want to get back up!

Backland shoes are only compatible with TLT style touring bindings that use traditional toe and heel pins.  Backland shoes are not compatible with hybrid touring bindings, such as Shift MNC 10 and 13.
