The new Quantum FREE PRO is the top-of-the-range model for all backcountry touring experts who don't want to sacrifice performance and manoeuvrability on the way up and down. As a hybrid, the 130 Flex boot combines the best of touring and freeriding and is impressive in open terrain, with maximum control on the descent and an excellent fit for a smooth ascent. At the heart of the FREE PRO is the redesigned and durable IF Touring PRO liner, featuring Dalbello PuRE (Polyurethane Recycled Enforcement) three-piece technology for more efficient power transmission to the shell, firm heel grip and impressive comfort. A full-length lacing system and memory foam tongue complement each foot shape for individual adaptability and a perfect fit. The innovative two-piece bonded shell construction ensures low overall weight and high rigidity. In combination with the eXtra Dual Link cuff, it allows more direct transmission of control impulses for descents and sufficient freedom of movement for ascents. The new elastic gaiter also makes it easier to get in and out, thanks to the strap's Quick-Hook-Release function. The Quantum FREE PRO is equipped with a dual-density Vibram outsole that comes into contact with the ground and the binding, combining improved grip with no loss of power transmission on descents thanks to two types of rubber of different hardness. With a new lining made from recycled materials and the PU-free outer layer of the lining, the boot also scores highly in terms of durability.
