The KINGPIN is the first binding with inserts to successfully meet the DIN ISO 13992:2007 standard of the German TÜV organization. It is the result of the cooperation between Marker's engineers with their many years of experience and the know-how and expertise of Marker's touring athletes. The KINGPIN has a release system with a well-defined adjustment range that you can trust completely. The binding also has a function that compensates for variations in active length and ensures a good release even when the ski flex is stressed.

Tests with special equipment have shown that the release of the KINGPIN is always the same. The very special heel piece of this binding allows for direct and efficient power transmission, which results in the best possible skiing performance both on the way up and on the way down. The KINGPIN has been designed down to the smallest detail for comfortable operation, the use of the climbing wedges and the switch from walking to skiing mode are very simple.
