The Blaze 86 W is based on the same qualities that made the other models famous: lightness, versatility and agility. The absence of Titanal gives this ski a slightly more lively gliding behaviour while keeping the weight down. The Blaze 86 W is designed to negotiate fast, tight turns, but thanks to its sidecut with three different radii of curvature, it is also able to handle demanding terrain, sustained gaits and long turns. The Suspension Tip and Suspension Tail heels give this ski a particularly smooth glide, optimise flotation and protect the ski off the piste. Backcountry skiers who are willing to trade an extra 100 g for significantly improved gliding properties will find the Blaze 86 W a serious alternative for their touring. Thanks to its lightweight, high-performance wood core that runs the entire length of the ski from tip to tail, climbs are easy to negotiate and descents are a real treat (except on deep snow). The extremely versatile technologies of the Blaze 86 W offer intuitive gliding sensations and an outstanding playfulness.
