Scott

1958 - SCOTT was born, revolutionising ski poles.

The sport of skiing was revolutionised with a technical innovation by Ed SCOTT, a talented engineer and ski racer. He created the first conical aluminium ski poles which immediately replaced the use of bamboo and steel.

This revolutionary invention launched a new range at SCOTT, and fundamentally positioned the brand as a technical leader in the ski market. Ed SCOTT's initial vision of technical innovation would serve as the company's core philosophy as the brand grew and expanded into new markets.

In 1971, the company produced the world's lightest ski boot and introduced one of the first ski goggles using foam ventilation.

In 1994, a line of winter sports gloves was introduced.

In 1997 it was the turn of textiles. The company set up a technical line of winter sports clothing and a year later Scott produced skis.

In 2000, the Group honoured its image and launched patented world innovations: - Goggles with "RAM Air" ventilation system and the revolutionary "Amplifier" lens. - Ski poles with adjustable "LeverLock" ski strap system.

SCOTT won the European Ski Awards with the BIOMEX® helmet in 2004, this helmet was a big step forward for head safety in winter sports. The Biomex featured a double-band roll cage that reduced the weight of the swing and made it more comfortable to wear.

The new "Crusair" ski became the reference ski for the freeride mountaineering market in 2009. The combination of the carbon frame with sandwich wood air channels makes the skis extremely light, stable and responsive.

In 2012, the ski boot collection was launched, SCOTT Sports finally completed its product range for skiers from head to toe.

In 2013, Scott created the famous LCG goggle, featuring the screen change system. Simple and reliable, the LCG has won several awards and allows users to quickly change screens without having to touch the lens surface.

This system allows for a screen that offers true Category 1 and reliable Category 3 performance in a single mask that accompanies you on all your excursions. Airbag backpack, "MIPS" helmet system, Scott is truly a revolutionary brand at the heart of novelties, which proves its love of the sport every year. With the sole objective of comfort and safety.
