This essentially means that while water does not penetrate from the outside, moisture that accumulates inside the trousers can escape through the fabric. The seams are taped, which is another way to ensure you stay dry. The elasticated straps help keep your trousers in place, but can also be removed if you wish. The waist can be adjusted with velcro tabs. The legs are ergonomically shaped, which adds flexibility. The ankles have zips so you can easily put on and take off your boots.
