If something goes wrong, backcountry skiers need to be found quickly. With the NFC medical ID chip, rescuers can get the information they need about the injury scene in an instant, helping medical professionals make the best decisions about your care in the hours just before an accident.

The inclusion of the NFC chip is part of POC's full-face helmet approach to design, comfort, fit and performance, and includes SPIN (Shearing Pad Inside), our patent-pending silicone protection technology system. Other features of this full-face helmet include the use of RECCO rescue reflectors to assist rescuers in their search for lost skiers.

The helmet is compatible with the Obex Headset communication system (sold separately) and is designed for continued compatibility with POC goggles. The ventilation is fully adjustable and the pads are adjustable. A thicker PC shell compared to the Obex SPIN increases durability, making it ideal for backcountry adventures.
